Dear Guests, Thank you for choosing the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex in Zakopane. For the sake of the comfort of your stay and other guests resting in our facility, we would like to present the rules of using the Apartments and the entire Complex.

Rules and regulations of stay at Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA

§1. General

1. The Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex is not a hotel, but a complex of apartments (aparthotel) designed to provide short-term rental services.
2. Apartments in the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex are rented for days. Check-in is from 15:00 on the day of arrival to 11:00 on the day of departure.
3. Payment for the stay is collected in advance – no later than on the day of arrival when handing over the keys and is non-refundable in the event of a shortened stay.
4. The Guest wishes to extend the stay beyond the period indicated on the day of arrival should report to the Reception by 9:00 a.m. on the day when the rental period of the apartment expires. Extension of the stay will be possible only if the Apartment is available.
5. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
6. Upon check-in, guests will be charged a one-time, refundable deposit of PLN 300.00 for each apartment, in case of damage to the Complex.
7. In addition, a local tax of PLN 2.00 per day per person is charged for the stay.
8. In winter periods, it is recommended to have snow chains.

§2. Rules for the use of the complex

1. Smoking is strictly and completely prohibited in the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA Complex (except for designated areas). The ban applies to the Apartments, garage and other common areas. In the event of a violation of this rule, the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex may charge the Guest with the amount of PLN 500.00 for each case of violation.
2. We kindly ask you to occupy parking spaces with the numbers indicated by the Reception staff.
3. Entry and parking of vehicles is allowed only in designated areas. Outdoor parking is free and unguarded. Parking spaces in the underground garage are subject to a fee according to the current price list and are unguarded.
4. In the event of a loss or damage by the Guest of the key, remote control for the garage door or remote control for TV, a fee of PLN 200.00 is charged for each lost item.
5. An iron and ironing board are available at the reception.
6. There is a laundry room in the complex. If you need to use the laundry, please contact the Reception.
7. Skis (in winter), bicycles and strollers (other seasons) should be left in the racks located in the garages (keys at the Reception). The apartments are cleaned after the departure of the guests, for stays of more than 7 days we guarantee a one-time change of bed linen and towels. Cleaning of the apartments, change of bed linen and towels – on request – is additionally paid.
8. In case of technical defects, please contact the Reception. It is forbidden to make repairs on your own.
9. In case of dirt/stains of the apartment’s furnishings, please contact the Reception, it is forbidden to try to clean it on your own.
10. Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the Complex and is free of charge.
11. The guest is not allowed to share the apartment with other people even if the period for which he has paid the fee for the stay has not expired.
12. Guests who have not checked in can stay in the apartment from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
13. Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA may refuse to accept a Guest who during a previous stay grossly violated the regulations, causing damage to the property of the complex or the Guests, or to the person of the Guest, an employee of the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex or other persons staying in the facility, or otherwise disturbed the peaceful stay of the Guests or the functioning of the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex.
14. Failure to leave the apartment on the day of planned departure by 11.00 a.m. will be treated as an extension of the stay for the next day, provided that the apartment is available.
15. The number of people staying in the apartment cannot be higher than agreed upon at the time of booking. In the event of a violation of this provision, the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex has the right to charge the Guest an additional fee.

§3. Guest Responsibility

1. Children and adolescents up to 18 years of age stay in the complex only under the supervision of adults. Legal guardians are financially responsible for any damage caused by the actions of children.
2. The Guest bears full financial responsibility for any kind of damage or destruction of the facility’s equipment and technical devices resulting from his/her actions/omissions or actions/omissions of visitors.
3. In the event of violation of the provisions of the Regulations, the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex may refuse to provide services to the person who violates them. Such a person is obliged to immediately settle the amount due for the services provided so far, to pay for any damage and to leave the facility immediately.
4. For safety reasons, a guest leaving the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex should always turn off the TV, turn off the lights, turn off the taps, lock the door and return the key at the reception.

§4. Reservation and check-in

1. The basis for the Guest’s check-in is to present the Reception Desk employee with a photo ID and a reservation confirmation.
2. In the event of the Guest’s resignation from the stay during its duration, the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex does not refund the amount due for the unused services.
3. The Guest is obliged to inform the Reception Desk about any defects or deficiencies in the equipment on the day of arrival, under pain of being deemed to have found no defects or deficiencies.

§5. Responsibility of Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA

1. The Guest should notify the Reception Desk of the damage immediately after it has been discovered.
2. The Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex is not responsible for loss or damage to money, securities, valuables or items of scientific or artistic value left on the premises.
3. Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA is not responsible for damage or loss of a car or other vehicle belonging to the Guest, objects left in it and live animals, regardless of whether these vehicles were parked on private property belonging to the facility or outside its premises.

§6. Return of items left behind

1. Personal belongings left in the apartment will be sent back to the address indicated by the Guest at the Guest’s expense.
2. If the Guest does not receive an instruction to send back the items left behind, the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex will store the above items at the owner’s expense for a period of three months.

§7. Leaving the apartment and checking out

1. At the end of the stay, the guest is obliged to leave the apartment in good order.
2. Before the Guest checks out, the staff of the Complex has the right to check the condition of the apartment. Any defects and/or deficiencies noticed during the inspection are the responsibility of the Guest returning the apartment. After confirming that the apartment has been left in proper condition and with complete equipment – the deposit is returned to the Guest. In the event of defects or deficiencies in the equipment, the Reception will retain the appropriate part or all of the deposit – for the purpose of repairing the defects and/or supplementing the deficiencies.

§8. Additional Provisions

1. Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA does not accept pets. If an animal is found to be present on the premises, the Complex may request the animal to leave the Complex, and may independently charge the Guest an additional fee – PLN 100.00 per day for 1 animal. Each time, the owner of the animal is obliged to keep it in such a way that it does not pose a threat to other guests and staff. The Guest is obliged to remove any impurities left by the animal on the premises of the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex. It is strictly forbidden to bring pets into common areas such as the conference room/dining room, etc. The costs of any damage caused by the animals or additional cleaning are entirely borne by their owners.
2. It is not allowed to store dangerous goods in the apartments – weapons, ammunition, flammables, explosives and illumination materials.
3. The Guest agrees to the storage and processing of personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 101, item 926, as amended) by the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex for the purposes necessary to realize the Guest’s stay in the complex, the Guest’s use of other services provided by the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex. The Guest has the right to inspect their personal data and correct them.
4. It is forbidden to make excessive noise in the Complex, cause unpleasant odors, or other things that disturb, harm or irritate other Guests of the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA Complex.
5. Guests are not allowed to make any changes to the apartments and their furnishings that do not affect their functionality and safety of use.
6. The use of the SPA takes place in accordance with the rules set out in the SPA Terms and Conditions. If you wish to use the SPA, you should always report it to the Reception Desk.
7. By making a reservation and/or paying for a stay, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them.
8. In the event of a violation of the essential provisions of these regulations, the Smrekowa Polana Resort & SPA complex may charge the Guest with the amount of PLN 500.00 for each case of its violation.
